Earnings season is here. This week, the big cap companies are kicking it off, including a bunch of the Dow Industrial components.
Tracey dug through all of the charts to find only the best.
Despite what you might think, it’s not easy for companies to beat nearly every quarter for several years in a row.
But here are four companies who have a great record and hope to keep it going this week:
1. General Electric (GE - Free Report) hasn’t missed in 5 years. Very impressive. The chart isn’t as pretty as others but it’s been getting the job done and has moved higher.
2. PPG Industries (PPG - Free Report) has missed just once in the last 5 years. Shares are off their highs and haven’t really gone anywhere in the last 2 years. Is the big run over?
3. Check Point Software (CHKP - Free Report) last missed in 2012. Shares are trying to break out to a new multi-year high.
4. Citizens Financial Group (CFG - Free Report) is kind of a cheater stock. It has a perfect record BUT it went IPO only in 2014. Still, the big banks have put together quite a run over the last few years.
